Meet Joanna

Joanna first fell in love with Maine while studying English at Bowdoin College in Brunswick. After five years in journalism and media, she decided to move to the Maine mountains to immerse herself in the beautiful outdoors and an active lifestyle. She met her future husband Brad while they were both working at Sugarloaf ski resort, a place they both still love and spend much of their time.

After a six year career in real estate marketing, it was an easy decision to get her real estate license. As an agent, Joanna combines her professional marketing expertise with her passions for living in Maine, house-hunting, interior design, and helping people fulfill their dreams. She specializes in the lakes and mountain regions and can help clients find their dream homes surrounded by everything they love about Maine.

Joanna volunteers as a Bowdoin College admissions interviewer, where she enjoys meeting bright and enthusiastic prospective students, and also for the Poland Broadband Committee, advocating for fast, reliable and economically viable internet for her rural community.

She splits her time between her home on Upper Range Pond in Poland and up north at her Sugarloaf camp. When she’s not working with clients, you can usually find her snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, reading or writing.

She is also working on her first novel, a historical fiction set in colonial New York populated with witches, pirates, and characters from American folklore.
